Hi, First of all this is a great site. Secondly, I have a 78 LRT and it came with a 426 Hemi in it and I have taken that out a put in a 360 HP that I found. My problem is that I cannot figure out how to connect the power steering pump to the engine. I belive I have purchased the right brackets and pump but can't seem to put it together. Would you please email close up pictures of a pump mounted on the engine so that I can get this truck back on the road again. I am totally flabbergasted that I nor my buddies can figure this out. Would very much appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks, Roy Spears Anxious Lil Red Owner

Great site. I don't have anyone near me with another Li'l Red, so the more sites I find on the Internet, the better. Keep up the good work.

I have long been a Mopar gearhead, and while I currently own a 1970 Dart, powered by a mild 360,I have always liked the Li'l Reds. One of my fondest memories involves a Li'l Red, a used car salesman, and my normally very heavy right foot. That poor dude left imprints of his fingernails in the glovebox door, and me with a lifetime of chuckles, I don't doubt that he needed a change of underwear after we returned to the dealership. I look forward to finding myself a nice one, perhaps after I part ways with my Dart. Great to see someone else giving well deserved recognition to an otherwise grossly underrated performance machine

Your site is great - I had an original 78 Little Red Express in May 1978 - A fantastic truck. Three years ago I purchased another 78, without drive train - Body is fair, I have new floor pans and I hope to resurrect this part of automobile history and pass it on to my grandson. i will be talking to you in the future about some parts for my truck. John Schmidt 703 W. Miller St. Fruitland Park, FL 34731 Thank you

I have a '79 Lil Red Express. It was left to me by my wonderful brother who purchased it new, loved to drive it and knew I loved it too. I've had it 2 yrs now,and it will stay in the family. It will be passed to my son, when he is 16. He is now almost 12 -- I'll be driving it in the summers until then. My son, Phillip absolutely loves it as well. Your site's great John!

Great site! I had a '79 LRET my graduation year of high school. Lots of fun and attention back in '82. Traded it for a 4wd Blazer for whatever reason. Wish I had it back, maybe some day soon I'll have another for my children to enjoy.

Good website John. I used your directions to install the steering box brace. It worked perfect. See you in June.

Great site! I have wanted one of these trucks since I was 5, now I am 30 and finaly got a 102K original mile '79. Use it as a daily driver and bracket racer on the weekends, I love every minute of it! Looking to replace my worn steering box, are those special for the LRT or are they standard 1/2 ton truck steering boxes? Thanks and keep up the great work! --Chuck
