I am almost finished restoring a 79 LRE that was basically abandonded on my property 7 years ago. It was a mess and a very costly restoration but I am quite happy with the results. It is my 70th birthday present to myself. I told my sons that it would work for my hearst when I take my last ride also but I plan on lots of cruising before that. Original motor not rebuildable so put in a souped up 360 Magnum.

I love the website!! I wish you had how long and wide she is I need to get a storage unit for mine I was transferred and can't remember!! My dad bought her brand new in 1978 imported from Canada there were only 2 the other one was in New York. She has the red interior and we have been restoring her. Still runs like a champ and goes to the shows.

I will join the Club, it's good to find the site. I've owned a '79 Lil' Red for years, my pride and joy showing off for approximately 34,000 miles. I had a garage built for "her"; she receives loving care. My husband had a '48 which he sold, but mine remains with me. Only I am 'allowed' to drive it. Are there license plate frames for 'her' for sale anyplace? ~ Kaye

Did what I could back then and haven't done anything to it since. Got married had kids bought a truck and here I am again with no money Ha Ha Anyhow Like the site lots of info
